A perennial favorite at our Brewery Halloween party, this reddish amber ale is perfect for fall. Real pumpkin adds a full body and sweetness, while deep roasted malts lend a toasty finish to this subtly spiced brew.

Good pumpkin beer. It's become one of my faves. Smooth with that taste of fall on the palate. A special brew alternative to traditional Octoberfests. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pours a nice reddish brown has very a little tan foamy head. the aroma is pleasantly obvious with touches of spices. including cloves, nutmeg, cardamom and cinnamon, the pumpkin is noticeable in the undertones. taste is good but not great. not bad for a pumpkin bear. has noticeable sweetness. finish ends too quickly and has a slight after taste, of burnt pumpkin.

Nice ruby color and a very small head. Aroma is...pumpkin (and a little sweet bread). Taste is very malty and pumpkiny with a tiny bit of yeast and a peppery zest to it. Aftertaste is like pumpkin bread. A very light body and light but zingy carbonation. Very nice! Iím always a little hesitant with trendy flavors but this is a solid offering.

Bottle from the warehouse. Pours amber with an off-white head. Nose is some gourd, some pepper, spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice. Flavor is similar- some background malt, some nutmeg, some cloves, some allspice, and mild cinnamon. Light to medium in body and not a bad pumpkin overall.

Normally I try to avoid pretty much anything labeled as pumpkin, whether itís beer or otherwise. But this beer really worked for me. Particularly because, despite the label, it was unexpectedly hoppy with a relatively subtle pumpkin aftertaste, which I found quite pleasant. I am a little bit sorry that this is trying to be such a distinct fall beer, since I would love having this on a warm summer day. Great feel, and a subtle, yet distinct flavor.

Pours a ruby color. Thick tan head. Not long lasting, some lacing.

Aroma is spices. Iím gonna say nutmeg and allspice mostly. If it didnít say pumpkin ale on the label, I wouldnít have guessed it. Itís also kinda malty.

Taste is mostly following the nose. I taste the malts. I can taste some pumpkin, but more the pumpkin pie spices. It is very smooth. Itís a touch bitter at the end. Itís balanced, but leaning sweet, but barely.

Mouthfeel is probably the best part of the beer. Medium bodied, rich and a little chewy. Itís very smooth. Highly drinkable.

Overall, itís good. Iíve had better pumpkin, Iíve had worse. If i were trying to decide between this and a different or new pumpkin, Iíd go for the new one. I think this could stand some more spice, or maybe a touch more sweetness.

Pours a copper from a bottle, lots of heavy pumpkin spice, not really pumpkin-y, just spice, allspice, cinnamon and clove mainly. An okay dessert beer.

From a 12 ounce bottle. Pours a medium brown with slight carbonation. Nose is of cloves. Decent taste. Pumpkin is more sweet than spicy. Finish is muted. This one could be more flavorful, but that might be off-putting to the masses.
