Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with hints of red and a moderately thick white head. Hints of spices to the nose and taste, but they are subtle enough not to overpower the beer. An easy drink for a pumpkin.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Deep copper color with a smallish beige head. No real lacing to speak of, but an attractive ring lasts throughout. Nose is mild with the typical gambit of spices and sweet pumpkin that lends itself to a creamy aroma. There is good pumpkin flavor present and the spices play a supportive role. Mostly nutmeg and a little cinnamon. Drinks well, refreshing for sure.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Smell was definitely pumpkin and amber malt. The color was an earthy orange brown with a good head. Above average weight for the palate with good carbonation. The flavor was more pumpkin gourd than pumpkin pie. The spice element was not as strong as others in this category. An average pumpkin beer .

Well-balanced pumpkin ale. Has some hints of nutmeg and cinnamon, with a nice medium body feel. Not too sweet and doesn’t overdo it on the spices. Overall a solid beer.

10/4/2011. 12 oz. bottle. from a mixed seasonal case. Dark amber color with a small white head. Aromas are roasted malt with pumpkin and nutty spices. A bit mellow flavors, but caramel and pumpkin are there in the mix. The carbonation is soft and the finish is sweet. not really my favorite style.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a clear dark amberish brown with a really thin head that dissipates quickly, aroma is pretty heavy on the spice, potpourri like, the flavor has a heavy amount of spice and ginger on the front end with a really sweet finish, I just can’t stand the spiced beers anymore, reminds me of drinking liquid potpourri, and this one is really sweet to top it off, ugh.
