COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A perennial favorite at our Brewery Halloween party, this reddish amber ale is perfect for fall. Real pumpkin adds a full body and sweetness, while deep roasted malts lend a toasty finish to this subtly spiced brew.

A: beautiful golden red. S: bready malts and pumpkin pie. Lots of cinnamon and nutmeg here. T: smooth, creamy Marzen upfront, finishes with a moist pumpkin pie flavor. M: a bit syrupy, like a good Marzen should. A very smooth and drinkable feel. Not much booze to speak of. O: What a great brew! Not sure who all the haters of this beer are, but I think it's a great Marzen style beer with some delicious notes of pumpkin with all the right spices to make a great and very drinkable pumpkin ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rated on 10-30-2013 (Bottle from Krogers Marketplace-Fort Wayne, IN) This bottled beer pours a large smooth beige head with a short retention, transparent orange body, slow rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. This beer’s aroma is light pumpkin, lightly malty, nutmeg, and clove. The flavor is sweet, light pumpkin, spicy, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light bodied. There is very little pumpkin element to this beer. It is rather bland tasting and somewhat boring to drink and rate. This is probably the least pumpkin tasting beer I have rated so far.

Opaque copper brown. Negligible head. Aroma consists of nutmeg, cinnamon, malt, and caramel. Thin bodied. Caramel, malt, roasted nuts, and the previously mentioned spices are present in regards to taste, but unfortunately this one is severely lacking in both robustness and pumpkin flavour.

Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head that left plenty of lacing around the glass. The aroma is pumpkin, cloves, spices, and nutmeg. The taste is very similar to the aroma. A slight bitterness to round it out. One of my personal favorite pumpkin beers.

[Bottle] Copper colored pour with a fizzy tan head. Aromas of allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon and sweet pumpkin. Flavors of sweet pumpkin pie and more of the associated spices. Brown sugar, caramel and residual sugars in the finish. Decent balance, could have scored higher if the sweetness was toned down.

[6211-20140304] Bottle. Fragrant fruity cleaner and light pumpkin spices. Clear, amber red body with a quick foamy off-white head. Pumpkin spices flavour has a nice sweet grainy finish. Medium body. Good. (7/3/7+/3/14) 3.4

Spiced aroma and flavor. Sweet, bread crust, light caramel malt. Subtle tartness... Really subtle pumpkin flavor. Pretty heavy on the spices, but doesn’t overwhelm the malt character. A little cinnamon "burn" (not a bad thing).
