3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from variety pack. Pours clear, dark, almost cola brown with a frothy, resilient, eggshell colored head. Aroma of hazelnut, toast, and hay. The taste is semi-sweet dominated by hazelnut, but also has a decent hop presence. Light-medium bodied and kind of fizzy. Overall a bit thin nearly across the board, and the flavor combination is little bit of a mess, but it’s still decent and very drinkable brown.

12 oz bottle from a variety pack. Pours light brown with a long lasting off-white head. Aroma is very nutty, malty with hints of hops. Body is light to medium, slightly crisp. Taste is mostly hazelnuts, toffee balanced by earthy hops. Finish is medium, hazelnutty. Good brew if you like hazelnuts.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, thanks Jay! Dark reddish brown pour, aroma brought big vanilla, hazelnuts, some slight roast, caramel and biscuity malts, hints of earth and spice. Taste is a nice mix of caramel, vanilla, big, big sweet hazelnuts, some earth and spice, touch of bread, finishing fairly sweet. Interesting, lots of hazelnut.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A crimson-brown pour with a frothy, light tan head. The malty aroma has a lot of hazelnut along with some bread and toffee. It has a medium body with a slightly sticky texture and average carbonation. The taste is sweet, but not too sweet, and finishes mildly dry.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a clear ruby brown with fizzy tan head. Great aroma with notes of hazelnut, toffee, hints of chocolate and toasted malt. Flavor is very much the same with dominant hazelnut and off-dry. Mouthfeel is light body with high carbonation. Overall, I am really dig’n this brew, its such a tasty, easy drinker with some personality. In my opinion, the best beer in the harvest variety pack this year, a nice unexpected treat.
