COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This flavorful dark brown ale has a distinct hazelnut aroma and taste. Slightly sweet caramel and toffee malt notes accentuate the pleasant roasted hazelnut character. This medium-bodied brew finishes smooth with an underlying spiciness from the hops.

Bottle. Poured a clear dark brown color with a large frothy light brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium toasted sweet malt and hazelnut aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Solid toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good complex brew.

Medium brown pour with a very light brown head. Loads of hazelnuts, sweet grain, caramel malts. Not vey complex but it delivers what it promises.

Bottle from Harvest collection. Pours clear deep ruby brownish with off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, vinous fruit, brown sugar. Tastes earthy malty, somewhat sweet and caramelly, with a big hazelnut flavor. Stays nutty and earthy/caramelly throughout, with finishing hops and fruit.

Bottled. Poured clear, medium reddish-brown with a tall, creamy off-white head. The aroma picked up sweet hazelnuts, bready notes, and toffee with light, fresh earth and vanilla around.. nice. The flavor found more hazelnuts plus caramel, vanilla, and biscuity malts at the core.. dry earthy bitterness and more vanilla around.. went back to the hazelnuts on the finish. Light-medium bodied and scratchy on the palate.. a bit watery on the middle.. overall a decent drinker, but not much more.

Bottle:   Ruby colored brown, large foamy eggshell colored head, nice lacing.   Soft hazelnut and toasted malts on the nose.   Somewhat of a spritzy tongue, malty, toasty, with soft hazelnuts.   Decent beer so far, only wished it were a bit sweeter and a bit more malty/chewy.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes with lots of Hazelnut, slight bakers chocolate, and toasted malts.   Overall a nice Brown Ale, very little hops.   Enjoyable.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, thanks Jay! Dark reddish brown pour, aroma brought big vanilla, hazelnuts, some slight roast, caramel and biscuity malts, hints of earth and spice. Taste is a nice mix of caramel, vanilla, big, big sweet hazelnuts, some earth and spice, touch of bread, finishing fairly sweet. Interesting, lots of hazelnut.
