3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This bottled brew from a grocery store poured a small sized head of foamy light brown colored bubbles that were and left behind a typically carbonated hazy with floating yeast chunks light cola brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The nice aroma was nutty and brown malt. The semi-flat crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium malty aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of hazelnut sweet and brown malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This was in a six pack of Noble Pils that I bought. Apparently someone really wanted a single Noble and put this one in itís place. So, Surprise Rating! Thanks, Food City guy who is kind of a jerk! Anyway, smells nice enough - Hazelnut, toffee and caramel, plus some coffee. Flavor is kind of a roasted pecan, hazelnut, some coffee and a dryish, woody finish. Now I donít have buy the Fall mix pack.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark brown in color, clear with a thin head. Nice sweet malt aroma with a very very light hint of nut to it. This is a tasty brew and i can see it be a tad higher in nut flavor.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fresh bottle. Nsoe a little nutty, woody, even stale, woodsy/crushed leaves and faint chocolate. Brown pour with amber highlights and a soapy tan head. Medium-full body is exploding with hazelnuts, great flavor, but thereís an airy/yeasty component thatís off-putting. Toffee and light roast, on the whole actually pretty dry, touch of caramel and light spiciness from noble hops. Rounded with fat malt, nuts last into the aftertaste, not without its flaws but very pleasant for fall!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared by my brother. Clear copper in color with a medium tan head. Aroma of hazelnut, malt and caramel. Malty flavor with hazelnut character throughout and a dry, roasty finish. Flavor was a bit more bland than I expected based on the nose, but overall a decent beer.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a ruby-brown color with a medium sized foamy brown head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sour nut, a strong vegetal presence and a hint of dark fruits. The flavor was definite hazelnut with toffee, sour caramel, a hint of vegetal malts and cocoa. Long finish of hazelnut and cocoa. Medium body though somewhat undercarbonated. Ok.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Poured a clear brown color ale with a rather large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of light caramel malt with light traces of hazelnut. Taste is a pretty easy to drink mix of light caramel malt with some notes of hazelnut and light residual sugar. Body is a bit light with good carbonation. Easy drinking with limited complexity.

Bottle: The aroma consists of cocoa, hazelnuts, caramel, and some vanilla. It pours a transparent orangish-brown with a small off-white head that quickly fades to a thin film. The flavor starts with cocoa and caramel. The finish has light-moderate hazelnuts and vanilla extract. Itís medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall, itís a little on the sweet side for me.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: Pours a translucent, amber-brown body with a reasonable-sized, ivory-hued head.
Smell: Well, hazelnuts, to be precise, with the brown ale backing notes smelling of roast, toasted breadcrusts, and caramel (even a bit of cocoa). Very soft fruitiness. Light tea-like notes delivered by the hops.
Taste: The aforementioned toast, roast, and sweetish caramel (oh, and the cocoa powder) maltiness dialed back just a bit by a bite from the spicy, herb notes imparted by the noble hopping. And, of course, thereís the hazelnut flavoring. Standard SA house yeastiness. Semi-dry, nutty, malty finish.
Mouthfeel: On the light side of medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Not too thick, not too thin, with just the right about of suds.
Overall: A tasty brew. Why, itís like a Hazelnut Nectar with the nigh unmistakable SA house yeast character.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: SEP 28, 2012 The aroma is nutty with hazelnuts, roasted malt, caramel, and toffee. There is a light hopping. The appearance is medium, brown with a two finger head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is typical. Overall a nice beer but slightly watery.
