COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams Hefeweizen has a traditional spin on a classic American craft brewing style. This crisp, fruity wheat ale is cloudy, because the yeast has not been filtered out. Bavarian Spalt hops give the ale a crisp elegance, that is not bitter and leaves a clean aftertaste. Cheers!

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, light spices, moderate citrus character; pretty basic middle to low Hefe.

Bouteille 12oz.

Another forgettable beer...light banana, citrus, spice...very little of the characteristic yeastiness that defines the style...Just OK

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Wheat aroma with moderate malt and light caramel. Rather bland, mostly malt flavor with a touch of caramel. A touch of fruit and wheat in the finish.

Mediocre Hefe but not bad. Bit of banana and funk. Little off but can't complain too much. Won't get it again but SA was such a gateway drug to craft back in college. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Seems more a wit with its spicing and orange character than a german style hefe. Weak and watery with a surprising amount of alcohol.

12 ounce bottle, poured a cloudy orange color. Aromas of wheat, some spicy Belgium yeast, and light orange. Flavor is the same, for a commercial brewery this wheat beer was fairly good, really like that it was unfiltered and had some nice sediment in the bottle.
