Samuel Adams Holiday Porter is a full-flavored porter inspired by the famous drink of London’s Victorian era luggage porters. Brewed with generous portions of Caramel, Munich and Chocolate malt, this hearty porter finishes with traditional English Fuggles and East Kent Goldings. Cheers!

[ Trade by Maria ]. Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, toffee, butter. Initial flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter, butter, finish flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and burnt bitter with a long duration. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, as well as slight burnt notes and a bit of coffee.The flavor is sweet with an acidic edge from the roasted malt as well as coffee, leading to a dry end, where the notes of coffee carries thru.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a longlasting off-white head. Roasted malty chocolate aroma with some fruity hints. Roasted malty fruity chocolate flavor. Hasa a warming roasted malty chocolate finish. Has a slightly dry bitter aftertaste.

Deep red - brown beer, clear. Tidy pale tan head. Softish semi dry palate. Sweetish dark malt with a hint of molasses. Whisper of banana ester. Finishes smooth with just a trace of bitterness.

Black color. Nothing more than an ordinary Porter, with light spicy taste, a bit too much black malt and therefore distrurbing bitterness.
