COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams Holiday Porter is a full-flavored porter inspired by the famous drink of London’s Victorian era luggage porters. Brewed with generous portions of Caramel, Munich and Chocolate malt, this hearty porter finishes with traditional English Fuggles and East Kent Goldings. Cheers!

This is a dark beer with a somelight light taste. It drinks much lighter than it looks! An aroma that can be described as ’typical’, a full color with a good head. This is a good beer, not great - It doesn’t have the bold taste you would expect; which could either be a positive or negative depending on your liking for porters.

Rich, smooth, and sweet, surprisingly good holiday beer from Sam Adams. Very nice chocolate and coffee overtones, too bad this brew is only available in the mix 12 pack.

Out of the bottle. Yet again a domestic beer that impressed me with its hearty flavor that wasnt as watered down as i thought it would of been. Honestly, you cant go wrong with sam adams brews they brew great beers. The holiday porter had a nice aroma i smelle hints of chocolate and coffee were most notable with me. Overall, It was a great beer and it surprised me with its quality. Enjoy.

Poured into Fifty Fifty shaker glass a deep brown with moderate head, but didn't last. Smells of earthy-esque-ness and chocolatey-stuff. Has a thinner body than I like/expected, especially for billing as a holiday porter. But tastes kind of muddy to me. I do get chocolate and a bit of roastiness, but it's not really in the forefront there. It's hard to review this beer. It's mediocre. If I got a bit more distinct flavor out of it I'd say it's better.

Pours a dark brown (just a hint of red when held to the light) with a thick brown head. Aroma is faint of malty richness. Beer is heavy and smooth, low carbonation and malty but relatively unbalanced, light on flavor ... with a light chocolate flavor at the end.

I think it much better than the honey porter they make. Good color. Malty & easy to quaff. Finishes fairly dry w/ hints of coffee and butterscotch. good effort by jim & the boys.

One of the better beers in the Holiday variety pack. I really enjoyed it and wished I could have found it as a six pack on its own. Very good beer if you like a Porter. I think it is better than the Honey Porter that they put out and I like that one.

Very smooth porter, not too heavy but nice malt and deep caramel tones, a little sharper on aftertaste, good beer but nothing crazy

Bottle. Black in appearance, completely opaque, and tan head. Aroma: Rich and warm, the way Christmas should smell. Taste: Delicious. Classic porter taste with a hint of roasted almonds and quite a bite at the end. Overall, sweet on the lips, warm on the palate, and a smooth, slightly bitter end make this a very drinkable porter for the yule tide.

Pours a nice, deep black with a decent biege head. Aroma is of coffee, a little bit of roastiness and caramel. Taste is mostly caramel, roasted coffee. A bit on the light side, expected more from this one.
