Bottle. It pours a clear, amber to ruby body under a small, beige head. Honey, some heather, caramel sweetness and roasted malts in the aroma. The flavor is much the same, honey- and caramel-sweet, with some roasted malts, and there’s also some bitterness. Medium to full body, and a nice bitterness in the finish. A pleasant beer, but a small glass is definately enough. Maybe the honey is too present. 090720

(12oz bottle) Medium tan head atop clear dark brown body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, butterscotch, roast. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, roast, some honey, sourness, light earthy/spicy. Light-medium body, fairly smooth.

Dark brown with reddish glimts and a large beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and coffee notes. Sweet flavour with honey, caramel, roasted malt and chocolate notes. Ends sweet.

Dark brownish colour. Aroma of honey and some roasted malt. Great bit dry flavour of roasted malts, honey, chocolate, some coffee, raisins, and hoppy in the end. Yummy brew indeed!

Deep ruby color, small beige head. Dark fruit, date, rye in the nose. Roasted malty, pipe smoke flavor with unbalanced sweetness. Toasted, slightly cardboardish with some papery hops. Quite unbalanced .. not maybe the most freshiest bottle.

Pours chestnut brown with a fine, big, creamy, beige head. Aroma is mild, roasted, some sweetness, light vegetable and heather honey. Highish carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has clear honey, roasted malts, dark chocolate. Good grainy, cocoa-like dryness in the finish. Perhaps the honey notes are just a bit too much for me?
