Samuel Adams Double Bock is brewed with a half pound of malt in each bottle, almost enough for a loaf of bread. This rich intense, lager reveals a deep mahogany color and velvety smooth flavor. Samuel Adams Double Bock is one of our most sought after brews. Enjoy!

Bottle shared by Robert at SL. This bottle was at home. Poured into a snifter. Dark red in color, ok head. Malty sugar aroma. Taste is malty, brown sugar, chocolate a little fruity. Average texture, alcohol was hidden well. Overall just a little too sweet for my liking..

Reddish pour with an off white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and fruit. Flavor is carame, fruit, yet significantly less sweeter than last years. Some warming alcohol in the finish. Overall, much less sweet, tasty, awesome beer.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of Alraomon. Thanks! Pours a reddish copper color with a thin head. Poor head retention and fair lacing. Very malty aroma with notes of caramel, toffee, toasted malts, fruit and hops. Taste is EXTREMELY malty... tons of toffee, brown sugar and dark fruits. Full bodied and quite sticky in texture.

Pours a dark amber with a small white head. Lots of caramel and roasted malts on the nose. Sweet toffee/caramel flavor with lots of malt. The taste of this brew grabs your attention from the very first sip. Complex for sure and even though its got that 9.5% abv I think it hides it very well. Solid brew and worth a try if you can find it.
