Samuel Adams Double Bock is brewed with a half pound of malt in each bottle, almost enough for a loaf of bread. This rich intense, lager reveals a deep mahogany color and velvety smooth flavor. Samuel Adams Double Bock is one of our most sought after brews. Enjoy!

Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt, berries, and metal. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, alcohol, bread, and malt, leading to a dry metallic and alcholic finish. The body is thick. Give me a German instead.

Hazy dark amber color. Light aroma, candi sugar, caramel and alcohol. Caramellish beer, with sweet and round body, low bitterness, but missing any depth.

Beautiful bright mahogany. Not much head. Syrupy and vaguely nutty aroma. Sweet and simplistic, with only hints of brown bread buried under a relatively caramelly body. Probably a bit too sticky for me.

Bottle from BevMo. Dark reddish copper color with an ok beige head. Aroma of roasted caramel. Full bodied with mild but sharpish carbonation. It’s rather sweet, progresses to roasted malt, shows a mild touch of coffee, has touches of likely noble hop. Heat is very well hiddden. Finishes towards dry/astringent with something like chocolate coating the mouth. It’s a variable beast. I think they have a good beer here.
