COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sam Adams Imperial White pushes the boundaries of a witbier. While the brew delivers orange and coriander notes typical of a witbier, it has a bigger mouthfeel and body. It is truly a unique brew.

Sweet bready candy aroma with coriander and orange peel. Cloudy golden color with long lasting white head. Sweet candy malty flavor with coriander And orange. Full bodies with med high CO2 and sweet coriander finish. Enjoyable beer, but 12 oz is a bit much. A bit too sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Orange brown with a thick white head. Aroma is strong with orange, citrus, yeast and spices. Taste is sour with orange, yeast, anis. Bit too strong alcoholic aftertaste. Nice mouthfeel up until the end. Tries a bit too much to be a lot of different thigs. Lots of flavors though.

Aroma is yeasty and doughy. Pours murky orange with a thick, frothy white head. Taste starts off like a wheat beer, but the spice flavors come out in the finish.

Copper amber with a slight haze, one-finger bright white head and moderate lacing. Big boozy aroma with spice, caramel, toffee, and oak. Flavors are similar, dominated by an oaky alcohol, almost cask-like, with the caramel sweetness strong throughout. Medium to full body, gereously effervescent, slightly oily mouthfeel, and the alcohol and caramel sweetness linger.

12 oz bottle from Wilbur’s. Orange-amber and pretty clear with a fluffy off-white head and visible sediment. The aroma is wheat malts, oranges, herbs, citrus, caramel and light booze. The flavor is similar. Pretty full body, soft and smooth feel with a boozy finish. Not my favorite

Pours a nice amber color with thin white head. Good nose of spice, orange. Should stop there. Alcohol overpowers the taste. There is some spice tasted in the background, but the booze paired with the syrupy consistency makes this one to avoid. Blah. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy golden orange pour. Aroma of coriander and a little bit of citrus. Flavor has the same notes, but unfortunately also features lots of booze. The spices fade right into the boozy finish, which is kind of interesting, but overall this experiment didn’t really work out.
