3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Five Points Bottle Shop (Lumpkin) in Athens. Big candyish, peach nose, spicey and sweet. Hazy dark orange. Muted sweetness, sweet tea-like, in initial / smooth, with some umami in mid, with a more wine-like character / alc, grows strong in the throat, with a mild sweet aftertaste. Medium-to-slghtly-thick body. Unusual stuff. Huge body for a wit. So much alcohol, so noticeable. Alc. and body just about swallow up the spice.

Honestly not the biggest fan. Iíd prefer a 10.3 ABV Blue Moon. Iím more of an IPA guy but for you wheat ale lovers out there its worth picking up a four pack!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Purchased as part of a 4 pack from a local grocery.
Poured into a glass, head is about an inch think with fairly good retention. Copius carbonation and excellent lacing.
Sweet aroma but alcohol overpowers a hint of citrus.
Sweet tasting with a smooth finish. Not what I was expecting. Dont know that I would classify this as a Wheat Ale but somewhat pleasant nonetheless.
Heavy mouthfeel. Good for one or two but certainly not any more than that.

1.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
The smell was interesting, I was initially intrigued. Really is a beautiful beer, loved watching it while it filled up my glass, like bubbly golden straw. Right when it enters your mouth you are just struck with a strong pungent burst, it discourages you from taking a large sip, I powered through and was not rewarded. It is really just disgusting. Too many flavors buying for your attention, and they are like steam rollers on your taste buds, they donít get along. Save your money and donít buy this beer, itís only good to look at. I ended up using 75% of the 24 oz bottle for cooking because I couldnít handle anymore awfulness.

The color of this beer is beautiful, for it is a brownish orange with a white head that dissipates quickly; furthermore, the aroma is heavenly with hints of orange, coriander, and wheat. The taste is slightly sour, mildly sweet, slightly umami, and mildly bitter. Finally, the way the beer coats the mouth combines a full body, flat carbonation, a long finish, and a thick texture.

4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
I saw Samuel Adams on the label, but was NOT expecting the flavor that came out of this bottle. Gorgeous deep, red-amber color. Truly, a beautiful beverage for the eyes. A fruity aroma, with a smooth citrusy and spicy flavor. Much more complex than most witbiers Iíve had. Probably the most impressive beer Iíve ever tasted from the Boston Beer Company. Brilliant.

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Aromas of spices and rum rasin. Clear copper color. It has a sugary toffee flavor thatís a bit too intense. This is NOT a white ale for people who enjoy white ales! The mouthfeel is oily and full-bodied. The alcohol is too high for a white ale, by double or more. Itís just too much of everything.
