2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy honey gold pour, very little head. Not very wit-like. The aroma is overwhelming sweet malt with caramelized orange and a distant anise. Full bodied, very sweet, hot alcohol, flavors of orange, cooked apple, red grapes, some spice on the finish. Lacks the expected creamy middle and crisp finish, in fact, almost no wit characteristics at all. Tastes like a poorly done home brewed dubbel. Weak.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Tulip. Aroma has malt notes with an apple tinge. Decent clarity and no lacing. Apple flavors intially followed by spices that almost cover up the alcohol notes.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
355 mL bottle. Doesn’t look like a wit - hazy, but too dark with a small head. Aroma has yeast, citrus and spice. The flavour is actually lacking in wheat, if you ask me. A hint of alcohol is noticeable, but is actually a nice addition - helps to balance the sweetness. Full, wet body.

0,35 flaske på Liberty of the Seas: gikk nesten i dørken av begeistring. Som en god belgisk trippel og om mulig enda fyldigere. Kun for de som liker søte, sterke øl. Velbalansert. En sann nytelse i små slurker.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap at SIBF 2012. Orange pour, with light citrus and some bread. Maybe some eggnog? I’m not much a fan -- too sweet for these flavors, and it makes the brew cloying.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice dark gold color. Aroma has floral with a hint of citrus. Taste sweete at first, then leaves a bitter after taste.
