Nice alcohol content and well crafted. I like Boston Ale better.

Excellent IPA for a craft brewer. Big hops and strong hop and malt nose.

Best IPA I have ever had. The taste is so smooth and refreshing that I drank my whole 12 pack in two hours.

What can I say, I liked this beer. Probably one of the most satisfying IPA’s I have had in a while. Very hoppy flavor with a hint of something from the citrus family. Indeed an amber color, the description doesn’t lie.

Another outstanding brew from Samuel Adams. This beer has quite an aggressive character - a single quaff sends a one-two punch right in your face! Appearance - very compelling rich amber hue. Nice frothy head. finish had a hoppy harshness which is expected from an IPA. Major drawback - distributed only regionally - I had the opportunity to taste this in Atlanta and WDC a few months back - its only marketed in the bigger markets apparently - wish they’d replace that watered down version (American Pale Ale) and put this on the shelves instead - get this if you can!
4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 pilsnerrogge (2271) - Finspång, SWEDEN - APR 4, 2002
Copper-coloured, OK head. Full-bodied. Thick, oily hop-flavour. Very bitter. I like hoppy, bitter beers.
