2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 ounce bottle from City Market in Burlington, VT (February 2008), consumed a little colder than cellar temperature from a Coors Banquet glass. The voluminious orangish-tan smooth head fills 2/3 of the glass but falls rather quickly above the dark clear amber liquid, leaving smooth sheets of lacing behind...the nose is unremarkable but not unpleasant, vaguely toasty-malty, amber-ale like though with no reall hop sharpness or pungency at all....the body is moderately sweet, somewhat thin, just a touch metallic, readily quaffable, and dull as all get-out....some woody dryness at the finish helps cut the growing cloying qualities; but this is just a nothing beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Old rating. Big caramel and maltiness in an Amberish. Better than macros, but sort of same generic taste.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Kinda meh beer. Good when you are just looking for a better grade of a macro bud type of a beer. Not really anything to get excited about.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Just not digging the caramel in this Irish red ale. Just tastes like brown sugar and excessive carbonation.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from San Juan. Deep ruby-copper color, medium-sized beige head. Berryish, caramelly aroma. Medium-bodied. Caramelly-candyish flavor with some berries. Sweet version of Irish red, tastes industrial.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a dark amber reddish color with a medium white head. The aroma is caramel, hops, and some fruit. The taste is similar but I am not a fan of this beer.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
really indistinctive malt Amber brew that is hardly a step from mass produced beer.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured into a perfect pint.
3.25 A: Clear orange amber color. One and a half fingers of frothy beige head. Retention is a touch below average and a short ring of lacing is left.
2.75 S: Buttery with light caramel and some toastiness. Not much else going on. Super boring nose.
3.0 T: Taste is also underwhelming. Light caramel, toastiness, some buttery notes.
3.5 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Light creaminess.
3.0 D: This is about as average as it gets. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing right either. Boring beer.
