6 oz draft pour at Snallygaster 2014 shared by solidfunk? arg0? noodleuser? I don’t remember... anyway, this was light sour pitted fruits - like cherries, dark red grapes with some balsamic tartness. Flavor was a bit wine-like, a slightly dry, sour, tart brew. Enjoyable. I think that Boston Beer did a pretty good job making a beer that reminded me a lot of Rodenbach. Good job!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at 2013 GTMW, pours a clear light brown almost red with an off white head, the aroma had a pretty good amount of funk but was almost sweet at the same time, the flavor has a kind of sweet front end with the sourness and vinegar notes in the finish, not overpowering sour by any means but kind of fruity, a little bit of booze comes through as well, interesting from Sam Adams, glad I made the stop.
