MadRobin (2415) - Silver Spring, USA - AUG 18, 2015
On tap at Scion in Silver Spring, MD. Opaque, ruby-brown with a thin tan head and sparse lacing. Aroma of raspberries, cherries, tart dark fruit, grapes and balsamic vinegar. Taste of tart red grapes, tart dark fruit, raspberries, sour cherries and balsamic vinegar. Definitely sour, but not overwhelming and with enough sweetness to take the edge off. Medium body and medium carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Poured a lovely shade of deep garnet with traces of beige head. The aroma picked up very aggressive, very sour cherries, oak, and vinegar.. deeper vinous character. The flavor found tart vinous notes and cherry skins on the tip of the tongue, with a dry wash of cherry dust and oak following.. some meaty cherries on the middle.. cherries and vinegar picked up some peppery strength toward the back.. long, dry, sour finish. Medium-bodied with low-moderate carbonation.. well-balanced and it held its composure throughout.. great mouthfeel.

On draft at The Yard House. Poured a dark mahaugany with a thin beige head. Taste of vinegar, cherry, plum, and tart. Lively fizzy carbonation, medium body. Overall, the vinegar flavor was a little too predominant for my palate. Cheers
