COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our new 2013 release features Mosaic hops, a new hop from the Pacific Northwest. They add a burst of citrus notes to the distinctive layers of German, English and other American hops, all from growing regions near the "hop belt" of the 48th Latitude. Cheers!

Bottled. Poured clear, medium golden with a short whitish head. The aroma picked up dank floral and citrus notes with a heavy sweet base.. aiight. The flavor found sweet honey and caramel notes at the core with floral notes, black pepper, and grapefruit bitterness around.. finished spicy and bitter. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated.. pretty good balance.. nice one.

Bottle #2 of the 12-pack. Pours out a clear light amber color. Earthy-herbal aromas. Flavor of citrus and bitter herbal tea. I cannot remember trying anything with Mosaic before. It’s like an earthy version of Citra. Finish is slightly bitter and herbal. This is turning out to be a good research project!

My experience with the Deconstructed series has been extremely positive. While not all of the beers were as satisfying as I’d like, all of them has taught me something new. It turned out that Mosaic was an excellent single-hop IPA to go out on. It taught me a great deal about this variety and was tasty as well. Pouring a golden orange color and with a nice layer of suds, Mosaic gave me the intense fruity note I was expecting, but there was also a smell of grass, bready malt, and a musk that reminded me of marijuana resin. The flavor proved to be equally complex. At the front of the mouth, the smooth malts worked in tandem with the flavors of grapefruit rind, lemon zest, and orange peel to create a bitter/sweet balance. The brew’s grassy notes (both of them) dominated the finish with flavors of sweet earth. Finish is spectacular - crisp, clean, abrupt, refreshing. Mosaic gave me more than I expected. It was every bit as flavorful as I hoped but more complex than I’d imagined.

Bottle. A- Citrus, grapefruit, hoppy, grassy, weed. A- Copper color, clear liquid, white head. T- Citrus, grapefruit, grassy, spruce, bitter, slight funk. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- I feel like I should have smoked this beer instead of drank it. The aroma especially and even the taste brings up thoughts of weed. The citrus was good and made for a very juicy IPA. Interesting to say the least.

12oz bottle from a Wegman’s in Buffalo, NY. - No 2 in the series of single-hopped versions of Latitude 48. Gold amber with a thin cream head; citrus aroma; clean grapefruit taste with a sweet fruity malt body; and a zingy grapefruit finish. A good showcase for Mosaic hops.

12 oz bottle. Pours dark amber with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, tropical fruit and caramel malt. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Citrusy hops, caramel malt tropical fruits are balanced on the palate. Finish is medium, semidry. Easy drinking, balanced, tasty IPA, much better than #1 in the series.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a reddish amber color with a thick off white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, caramel malt and Sam Adam’s house yeast. Flavor is medium bitterness with a lot of mosaic hop fruitiness. Mild caramel notes. Medium bodied, finishes bitter. This is ok.
