COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our new 2013 release features Mosaic hops, a new hop from the Pacific Northwest. They add a burst of citrus notes to the distinctive layers of German, English and other American hops, all from growing regions near the "hop belt" of the 48th Latitude. Cheers!

About as good as it gets from a bottle. Pleasant aroma. Beautiful reddish brown color. Full, hoppy flavor, without being overly astringent. Mildly sweet. Slightly lingering finish. Rich mouthfeel. Tastes richer and stronger than average beer, without being overly hoppy or having gratuitously high ABV.

decaturstevo (4869) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAR 16, 2013
Copper pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of citrus hops and bready malt. Sweet malt start with a resiny/citrus bite. Nice bitter that lingers. Medium body with good carbonation. Nice beer better than the 48 regular

Copper in color with a decent off-white head. Aroma is of caramel, very spicy hops, citrus, floral. Taste is of caramel, spicy hops, juicy orange.

Bottle. The look is clear, beige decent head, and copper colored. The smell is spicy, hops, fresh hops, grassy, hay, and malt. The taste is malt, strong noble hops, grass, and interesting.

This has more of a yeast aroma and a bigger hop taste then the regular Latitude 48. It also has more of a pleasant astringency, probably from the Mosaic hops. I’m not exactly doing back flips over this brew, but it is quite drinkable.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, dark burnt orange with minimal head. Aroma of tropical fruits and citrus with a slight dose of pine. Taste is light bitter. Pine and citrus. Medium bodied with a slightly slick texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, pretty good. Ill be drinking this again.

Moderate citrus hoppiness with a bready malt profile. Not bad for a ’can-get-anywhere’ type beer.

jhamp9 (1012) - Corinth, Texas, USA - MAR 6, 2013
Clear copper with a nice off white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is spicy, grassy hops with citrus zest and caramel in the background. Taste is spicy, pine, and citrus rind with a malt backbone. Subtle bitterness that hangs around in the aftertaste. Easy drinker.

Arayaga2 (1769) - portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 5, 2013
Clear reddish gold with a cm of white head. Aroma is bright citrus with minor vegetal notes. Taste is more firmly bitter than expected, with a firm pithy punch that is underpinned by nice biscuity malt.

Best before June 2013.
Appearance: The body is a clear copper with fine carbonation bubbles in the body. The light tan head is short but dense with average retention. The head settles into a thin coating covering the top.
Aroma: Citrus is the strongest aroma here, but the aroma on the whole is a bit muted. This doesn’t smell bad, but I wish the hops had more presence.
Taste: The hops appear stronger here providing a moderate bitterness with a prominent citrus flavor with a touch of floral and spicy presence. The malt base balanced the hops nicely with hints of caramel. This is very enjoyable.
Palate: Medium bodied with a full texture, soft but plentiful carbonation.
Overall: If the aroma were a bit stronger I would like this a lot more. Even so, this is a more than acceptable IPA at this price range. This is worth buying a six pack of.
