COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams® Latitude 48 IPA is a unique IPA brewed with a select blend of hops from top German, English, and American growing regions all located close to the 48th latitude within the “hop belt” of the Northern Hemisphere. The combination of hops in this beer creates a distinctive but not overpowering hop character. The beer is dry hopped with Ahtanum, Simcoe®*, and East Kent Goldings hops for a powerful citrus and earthy aroma. The hop character is balanced by a slight sweetness and full body from the malt blend.

Pours a deep orange colour with a tight white head that moves to the edge of the glass and stays until the bottom. Aroma is strongly floral with hints of pine, grass, wood, and white pepper, unsure about the smell actually. Taste is all floral at first with hints of hop spiciness followed by a bright orange flesh taste that compliments the floral elements quite well. Behind the hops is a light malt bill that is slightly bready. The finish is a lingering bitterness reminiscent of citrus zest. Mouthfeel moderate carbonation with a dry and bitter finish. a little sticky feeling left in your mouth. Quite an enjoyable ipa straying from the usual grapefruit and pine

Amber medium-bodied ale, with an aroma revealing mostly caramel malt, but also some hops. The flavour is mostly spicy hops, but also distinctive malt. Light sweetness with medium bitterness. Ends on a spicy note. Overall, this is a simple and drinkable beer, but I like the hops they have chosen, and the balance is good.

Pours a medium golden amber color. Aromas of citrus and fruit. Flavor is a big hop presence with subtle tastes of fruit and vegetables, then more hops.

A medium-dark Amber color with a smallish beige head. Has a European hop scent, earthy, tea leaves and a bit of allspice.Good body, has a slick feel, moderate bitterness, good balance, solid offering by the lads at Boston Brewing. I really like that they are always coming up with something new and innovative.

Bottle. It poured a clear copper color with an off-white head and minimal lacing. The aroma is citrus and earthy notes. The bitter taste is dominated by a pine and citrus flavoring.
