COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams® Latitude 48 IPA is a unique IPA brewed with a select blend of hops from top German, English, and American growing regions all located close to the 48th latitude within the “hop belt” of the Northern Hemisphere. The combination of hops in this beer creates a distinctive but not overpowering hop character. The beer is dry hopped with Ahtanum, Simcoe®*, and East Kent Goldings hops for a powerful citrus and earthy aroma. The hop character is balanced by a slight sweetness and full body from the malt blend.

IPA https://twitter.com/MaekJuBot

(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, amber colour with a slightly beige medium-sized foamy head. Mildly biscuity cara-malty aroma with spicy herbal, fruity and delicately woody hops, including notes of grapefruit. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly bready malty base with notes of caramel and a present hoppy blend with notes of grapefruit, herbs and grassy accents; dry-ish bitter-sweet finish with a lingering, mostly spicy herbal hops character. Solid. 24.IV.15

Bottle camping in France. Hazy orange pour, thin white head. Aroma of fruity hops, some grapefruit, grainy malts, slightly spicy and a bit of alcohol. Flavor is quite bitter, sugary malts and quite spicy. A bit messy.

Clear reddish orange with light white head. Lemongrass or lemon juice concentrate. Floral and grassy with grapes. Bitter and surprisingly sweet for non-D IPA. Sticky and fizzy.

Latitude 48 has a beautiful orange-red clear color and a good aroma of fruit and hops. It is not as hoppy as many other IPA’is, on the contrary, is the perfectly balanced between notes of orange, lemon and peach and a semi-dry hoppy bitterness that keeps the aftertaste for a long time.
