3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Tessic (746) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 17, 2013
This IPA poured a nice deep amber colour with a bright white, frothy head. To the nose there are scents of spruce, wood alcohol and citrus hops. First sip was quite bitter with flavours of pineapple, fruit juice and grass. Finish was a lingering bitter flavor with a rich malt background.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 shonobiwan (175) - Sound Beach, New York, USA - MAY 17, 2013
Long Island, NY - 12 oz. bottle poured a light bourbon color with one fingers worth of head and decent lacing. Aroma is of sweet malts topped with a few variety of hops. Taste is pretty sweet and nicely balanced. Decent effort by Sam Adams but its just a run of the mill IPA, average at best. --- Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 kevinsenn (550) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 14, 2013
Bottle from LCBO. Pours clear amber with no real head. Pleasant generic "fruity hop" aroma. Taste has raisins, lemons, and is highly bitter. Good body.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 zoucrew102 (149) - - MAY 11, 2013
Bottle. Aroma is hoppy, but not overpowering. Pours a medium golden color with a decent white head that clings to the glass. Taste is smooth, and well balanced to start with a fairly hoppy dry finish.

picked up a six pack at the supermarket, weaker flavor than I was expecting for an IPA, but still a sweet extra hoppy flavor and very inviting aroma, good blend by Sam Adams here

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 CPH2200 (41) - DENMARK - MAY 9, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 12, 2013 Bottle. Decent ipa, bitter with light hoppyness and caramel, but nothing too impressive here. Better than your average ipa though.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 OKplus (355) - Oklahoma, USA - MAY 9, 2013
A - Pours a clear rusty copper with 1 finger of off-white head forms a 1/4 inch cap. A few zig zag streams of lacing.
S - Murky citrus, mix of floral and herbal hops, fruity alcohol, mild biscuity caramel malt.
T - Herbal pine resin, grapefruit juice, fruit tea blends with an artificial sweetness and mint leaf. Malt is semi-sweet and slighlty toasted. Earthy bitterness and pungent East Kent Golding hops comes through strong. Bitterness coats the mouth lasts through the finish.
M - Medium soft carbonation, medium to full bodied, caressing feel.
Good IPA from SA. I wouldn’t say it stands out but it hits all the marks well and satisfies. It’s cool to taste all the single hopped deconstructed beers and then the blend. It really helps you pick out all the characteristics.

This is a refreshing ipa. Not overly hoppy or bitter. Has a nice citrus and hops finish. Probably the best beer from Sam Adams I have had.

Another Beer from the Sam Adams Hopogy pack. Another boring beer. This one was very weak. It really does not give the drinker anything special. Its a very light IPA.
