3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
355 ml bottle, poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Clear dark amber with a medium sized beige head, left foam patches when reduced. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon peels and pine. Taste of grapefruit, lemon, caramel and butterscotch. Medium carbonation and light-medium body. Less bitter than the average IPA, slight sweetness. Nothing outstanding for the style, just a good easy to drink IPA.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to glass at room temp. Lots to the aroma and I struggled to pull anything out of it. The taste is strongly hopped and I liked this one a lot.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not bad, but not exceptional. There is a little bit of citrus, some grass, with a thin bready malt backing.

Bottle. Amber, clear copper in color with light white frothy head. Aromas of pine and grapefruiy. Pine and citrus flavors, bitter yet slightly sweet. Lighter than expected body with light carbonation and malt driven balance. Bitter herbal finish.
To be drunk while sitting on a freshly chopped-down sequoia tree to be used in constructing your families log cabin home which will of course be built with only your bare hands.

355ml bottle. Clear amber body with a low white head. Quite a busy beer with many different flavor, but it feels unbalanced...

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Strong hops flavor as an IPA should be. The aftertaste lacks intensity. The IBU's formula could be improved.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Light red copper. Clear. Light white frothy head. Lifted malt driven IPA. Moderate use of hops, tropical. Just a hint of citrus and pine. Reasonably dry. Moderately high to high bitterness. Rich and long with fairly high carbonation. Lovely malt driven flavor. Solid IPA. Distinctly east coast in style. Very different to the west coast IPA.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This six-per-cent alcohol IPA is brewed with a dry-hopped blend of German, English and American hops from regions located to close to 48 degrees latitude. The hops are evident in the aroma of this dark copper-coloured beer along with a touch of citrus. It’s not overly hopped and the malt adds a hint of sweetness, which makes it a good option for folks who find west coast IPAs a little too much.
