2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle courtesy Naka. Pours effervescent yellow with fizzy, 1/2 finger white head. Nose smells like cinnamon and thyme, a touch of lemon. Biscuit and grass, woody notes and a citrus finish. Really awkward, honestly, like finding out Princess Leia is your sister.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle, pours a hazy gold, with white head. Faint aroma of oranges and spices. Taste has some complexity: oranges, coriander, hint of rye, interesting flavor. Well balanced, clean, crisp, and drinkable. A nice Wit brew.

4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
The sage taste makes this a very enjoyable beer. Leaves a fizzy feel on the tongue that helps bring it to life.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
I donít drink witbiers. I have never gotten along with them. They arenít my style of beer. The only reason I even tasted this beer was because it came in the sampler case I purchased. I think it would be a disservice to the beer and the brewer if I made any comments about it. Itís their fault I donít care for the style.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz into a glass. Pours a hazy orange. Head is light and fluffy and maintains. Taste is funky orange with some slight rye, but not to overbearing or extreme, like a very light rye. a splash of rye if you would. Seems to be too much going on within this one, like the brew is not quite sure where it wants to go. That brings a muddle taste to the offering and confuses the pallate. Orange spice is prevalant, as is corriander and nutmeg. But, this selection does go finely with the summer mix pack and the heat wave felt in the northeast recently. get down on it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle, another witbier from Sam Adams, this has to be some kind of record! -Pours hazy golden with a one finger head that starts to fizz away but still leaves a nice ice cream looking head, halfway through there is just a thin ring. Aroma is strong in citrus, coriander, ginger. The taste is citrusy, orange, the rye is really there, bready spiciness, sage too. Interesting beer, good.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Good beer. A great alternative to a hefe. Refreshing and light, but with a dry finish. The white thin head and lacing. You can smell the rye in the aroma. Good session drink.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Has the peppery wheat aroma of a Belgian white, but with an additional, more peppery rye malt.
Sweaty yellow color with a decent head. Looks very "wet," clear and not very cloudy.
The flavor has spicy coriander, orange peel, grains of paradise, pepper and just a hint of that dry rye. The spices all coagulate into one very spicy, very pleasant flavor that adds a little prickly-ness to a sweeter style.
Has a slick feel with just a hint of fizz. This is a nice little beer; Iím surprised/impressed.
