Have to be in the mood for it. Decent aroma, bit of a bitter taste. Not one of my favorites

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at Halls B-Day party. Pours a nice golden color with thick bubbly white head. Aroma hint of citrus but also hint of an organic earthy smell. Taste is intriguing, starting off as a nice light wittier, however finishing with the bite of rye and hint of sage. Carbonation really compliments the taste here, decent beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not much to the appearance, but the smell intrigues. Certainly a spicy beer, smells like an old spice rack in the best of ways. The taste continues on in the same manner with plenty of fizz. I found this in the Sam Adams 2013 summer variety pack, but haven’t seen anywhere else.

0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
12 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured a non transparent and mildly turbid, no head and no lacing, extremely light and faint carbonation. Aroma of band aids, sage, earth underneath peat moss that was freshly dug up, and peppermint- highly unappealing. Hits the mouth with a light body, a harsh medicinal taste intertwined with sage hits you hard at the start and tries to take over the entire mouth feel, middle becomes a lemon cough drop, finish just drops off a cliff. Rye can be found, but you really have to sift through the layers of shit. Drain poured the rest of the six ounces as well as the other bottle- Definately will not buy again.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a yellow-golden color with a medium sized foamy off white head. The aroma was sweetish and dusty with notes of coriander, citrus and white pepper. The flavor was tart and tangy lemon, orange, must, bread and white pepper. Medium length must and bready lemon and white pepper finish. Medium body. Decent.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JUN 30, 2015 Sampler pack in Springfield. The spiciness and dryness of the rye worked with the coriander and orange and the wit yeast. Serving: bottle

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
12 oz. bottle from Summer variety pack.
Ar: Big sage aroma up front, pretty strong coriander as well. Touch of citrus, a bit of spice overkill for me.
Ap: Pours a hazy straw with a head that dissipates quickly.
T: Sage is way overpowering and dominates everything along with the grassy/earthy coriander flavor. There’s maybe some citrus in here somewhere but the spiciness just takes over.
P: Medium body, assertive carbonation.
O: Weak sauce.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Woof. You like coriander? This is the beer for you. The nose and flavor is just so dominated by spicy coriander that is just barely palatable. Sure its "ok" and I do like coriander but it is way overdone in this beer. The rye is not especially noticeable, it has the typical zesty wheaty witbier flavor, and touches of citrus but not a lot.
