2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a somewhat clear golden color. The head is a fluffy two finger white shade. I love the lacing it leaves behind, definitely.
S: Thereís a lot of wheat on the nose, to the point where it overpowers any other notes (such as the advertised hibiscus). Iím not a fan of the aroma.
T: The flavor profile works better. A light fruitiness gives way to wheat-laden finish, spiked with some cream. I couldnít tell you what hibiscus tastes like, but thereís a distinct floral quality on the back end. Itís pretty decent all told.
M: Extremely creamy and soft, typical of the style. However, the general texture and finish is too heavy; even with the aid of strong carbonation, it gets in the way of drinkability.
O: This is now the 4,365th different wheat ale Iíve had from Sam Adams - and just like the others, this one is pretty middling. Pleasant, though.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
It poured a lightly hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma was of hibiscus and floral notes with a touch of wheat malt. The taste was similar and a little dry. It had a light body with crisp carbonation. Nice.

A -Pours a hazy amber/orange with a finger of white foam. Good retention with speckled lacing.

T - Starts off with grainy backed wheat, grassy hops, lemons, some chalkiness in the middle, doughy bread, light bitterness. Finishes clean with hints of lactic lemon tartness.
M - Soft and creamy carbonation, medium feel, clean finish.
A basic wheat with some light tartness. Sweet and chalky in the middle but cleans up on the finish. Drinks good.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Shaker at 41į. Color is a deep gold with a slight haze And good carbonation that gives it a small soft head. Aroma of honey and a bit of fruity hops. It has a lighter medium body with a creamy mouth feel. Flavor is wheat that comes across sweet with a hint of white pepper, a light fruit note and the hibiscus showing on the end. In the after taste the sweet lingers giving it a honey taste. Overall its a nice, easy drinking brew with a unique flavor palate.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pale hazy yellow color with a large yet fizzy head and decent lacing. Pale malts, wheat and floral hops and flowers permeate the nose. Wheat, pale malts, grassiness, and some flowery sweetness which I assume is hibiscus. Aftertaste is a earthy grassy flavor that sticks around for a long time. Body is moderate with some moderate carbonation. Good idea but lacks flavor.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Average beer with a little twist. Faint wheat and grassy smell. Cloudy yellow color with a white head. Lighter weight palate with average carbonation. A little foamy. Tastes were of wheat and grains. Iím not sure what hibiscus tastes like so I guess the slightly unique flavor could be associated with that. Easy to drink but not very exciting.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a slightly hazy yellow orange with a large lasting white head. Aroma and taste is sweet citrus, light wheat and banana notes, fruity with some floral essence and mild bitterness. A light to medium body, crisp, refreshing on the palate with light carbonation. Some sweet malt, wheat, floral essence and light fruity and mild bitterness on the end. A nicely balanced brew, refreshing and enjoyable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Drink by September 2013. Poured into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint.
Appearance: A slightly hazy yellow-orange color... about what I was expecting. Two fingers of head doesnít last too long, and thereís some really spotty lacing. Eh.
Smell: It sounds so generic, but itís just true ... it smells like a wheat beer. The wheat, yeast, hops... yep, smells like beer. The malt aroma is also there quite a bit.. smells like crystal or caramel sort of malts.
Taste: Tastes like an average wheat beer. The hibiscus thatís said to be in this is somewhat there, but not enough to make this particularly interesting. Pretty sweet throughout with very little bitterness, if any. Aftertaste is somewhat odd... the feel is kind of thin, and thereís a bit of an artificial sweet flavor on the finish as well. Itís really drinkable, but itís extremely forgettable.
