Commercial Description:
Created by Ken Smith, Colorado. Ken describes his brew as having "a refreshing light taste and cereal crispness from the wheat malt." This unfiltered ale has a rich, fresh fruitiness balanced by a citrus note from the Noble hops.

Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Smells of boysenberries, wheat and some dough. Tastes of wheat, boysenberries and some spices. Mouthfeel is crisp with some underlying nuttiness. Finish is doughy. This is nicely balanced for a fruit beer and I hope it becomes a regular release.

Put me in the corner that loves this one. It isn’t often that a new beer excites me, but this one wowed me. The aroma should be used as a benchmark for fruit beers (or any beer, for that matter). I could sniff this all day long. The pour is hazy dark straw colored with a fluffy 2-finger whitish head. The aroma, my God, the aroma is strong boysenberry, perfumy florals, and pale malt. Amazing. The taste is freshly picked boysenberries, plump full of water and with maximum sweetness, plus some hopcitrus and pale malt that balance the berries nicely. Complex, pretty rich palate, that left me wanting more and more. I hope this becomes a regular beer for SA.

Tastes like fruit punch. Can barely decifer the beer flavor in this one, let alone any wheaty/yeasty banna or clove that should be in there. Everything is just overpowered by the boysenberry.

Hazy golden pour with a small effervescent white head. Very medicinal and artificial fruit aroma. More of the medicinal fruit in the flavor with a clean wheat finish. Medium to thin body. Not a fan of this one at all. Reminds me of the bad cold medicine I was forced to take as a kid.

Smell is a sweet and fruity aroma of blueberry but has a artificial scent. Color is a golden hue with flim of head. The flavor demonstrates the artificial boysenberry ratehr well yet subtle, but gives off more of the grained wheat involved. Finish leaves behind a nice presence on the palate.

Slightly cloudy pale straw, rocky dirty-white head. Nose is, suprise, a lot of berries, also a bit of earthiness - no detectable hops. Medium bodied with light carbonation. The berries really come through in the flavor. I’m not a big fan of fruit beers, but this isn’t too bad.

Hazy orange amber body with a medium frothy white head. Sweet berry aroma. Gentle berry flavor with a light wheat background.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a moderate head. Aroma of boysenberry and a little yeast. Flavor is very fruity and sweet. Pretty well done for a fruit beer.
