Interesting brew. Notes of chocolate and caramel malts. Some pepper and spice. It was surprisingly blended well, but it didn’t do it for me.

The beer is dark brown with a ok retention and lacing. The aroma is a chocolate chili smell. The chiili is more like peppers not a spicy tobasco. The taste is also a chili chocolate. Its not a bad combination its really intriguging. However, I had this right after Sierra Nevada’s and this one was far inferior.

Poured from the tap into a tasting glass. The color is dark brown with some nice tan head and a some nice lacing. The smell is a bit dark malt flavor with a little spicey, peppery aroma. The taste is chocolate with some toasty grain flavor with some come pepper on top. Searching for any hop flavor I could find some did come out slightly but not enough to really guess at what it was. The feel is medium bodied and is pretty drinkable. It has pretty even feel and goes down well.

Glad this got added, couldnt remember the abv. EBF session 2 This poured brown into my glass, aroma was like chocolate and some hot pepper which dominated it for the most part. Flavor was quite spicy with some pepper but the malt held up pretty well adding a bit of sweetness, making it at least relatively balanced. Not that bad, good take on the chili beer by Sam Adams

Draft. Pours a dark bruin body with an off white head. Spicy with some light pepper spice but quickly peaty and a light smokey toffee and caramel. Some dark chocolate notes and a light spiced waring. not bad.
