This has a decent finish. It’s not my favorite style of beer but this is a solid effort. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 12, 2007 3 for 3 on this mix pack, each beer unique and delicious. This beer really excels at the subtle, clean body with a crisp finish. Great malt flavors, lightly toasty and bready/biscuit, clean finish. Just a simple and well built beer, very nice session beer. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 11, 2007 Bottle. Honey straw body with a thick foamy head. Nose-crisp stale hops, honey, light skunk. Taste-berries, apple, very clean and bitter, slightly astringent on the back end, thick tasting. There is something in here that reminds me of artificial sweetener, but not in a bad way. Overall very well done but not really my cup of tea. brew4all (102), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 11, 2007 Golden yellow pour with a thin white head. Aroma was mild with hints of hops and a bit of straw or grass. Taste was very smooth and felt creamy with nice carbonation. Finished clean. JFURYCAT (795), East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 11, 2007 I differ-this to me is the best one out of the long shot pack. It has an elegant mix of a biscuit malt flavor with a medium bitter hop tone. The body has a creamy quality along with a nice champagne-like bubbliness. This beer also has such a clean crisp quality that it makes the freshest Sam Adams product seem muddled. freekyp (908), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 11, 2007 Finely balanced with bready malt mixed with an overtone of peppery hops. Clear golden with a mid-sized white head and some lacing this is a emminent wonderful session brew. Ths Dortmunder style has a very soft finish with a slight prickly hop aftertaste. A wonderful straightforward lager. Nihon (240), Vernon, Connecticut, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 10, 2007 Aroma of fresh baked bread, decent carbonation. Apple juice color with a o.k. lacing. Malts and hops very well balanced to give this beer a nice mouthfeel and taste. Not ’whoa’ but still really good. But one question, why all the ’2’s? I wish I would have won too, but give the guy some credit. shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 10, 2007 Pour is clear yellow with only a small ring of mixed sized bubbles. Aroma is very fresh, with a raspy wheatiness and a bite of hops and maybe just a hint of fruitiness. Flavor is fresh, clean and delicious. Bready, toasty. Very enjoyable.
