The wings are down by 2 in game 7 and 9% abv is the cure. Nice fresh dusty malt smell, citrus and pine. Taste is caramel, sweetbread, vinyl backpack strap, and white grapefruit juice. Noticeably bitter finish, creamy but lively mouthfeel. Overall kind of astringent and not exactly easy drinking. kmeves (1081), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Very good. Pours orange with a bit of white head. I got a great big blast of grapefruit and pine in the nose with a hint of candy sweetness peaking through. The flavor is big, bold, and bitter as all hell. Lots of pine. Medium body and easy to drink it you enjoy that long bitter finish. I like this better than Pliny. OD40oz (603), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA
