Commercial Description:
While there is a great malty foundation to this brew, Mike’s Double IPA showcases his appreciate for hops. In fact, he included seven different varieties of American hops, totaling over six pounds of hops per barrel. The hops add an intense floral and citrus aroma to this brew.

Orange red colored hazy pour and a big creamy canvas colored head that persists. The wings are down by 2 in game 7 and 9% abv is the cure. Nice fresh dusty malt smell, citrus and pine. Taste is caramel, sweetbread, vinyl backpack strap, and white grapefruit juice. Noticeably bitter finish, creamy but lively mouthfeel. Overall kind of astringent and not exactly easy drinking.

Pours a clear light amber with a frothy off white head and medium carbonation. Aroma is medium sweet with grapefruit, pine, bread and caramel sweetness. Flavor is grapefruit, pine and caramel. Medium to full body, thick texture. Sweet bitter/caramel flavor lingers nicely. Finishes a bit astringent.

Light floralish hop aroma. Cloudy orange color with a small white head. Mild beginning with a good palate that gets bitter in the finish.

orange with large white head. medicinal and earthy hop nose, that is pleasant. hop bitterness that is quickly overwhelmed by a huge hop flavor that is earthy and citrusy. a lot of malt balance and some alcohol warmth, that adds depth finishes the beer. a very pleasant brew, well balanced and very flavorful. good double ipa

Very good. Pours orange with a bit of white head. I got a great big blast of grapefruit and pine in the nose with a hint of candy sweetness peaking through. The flavor is big, bold, and bitter as all hell. Lots of pine. Medium body and easy to drink it you enjoy that long bitter finish. I like this better than Pliny.

Bottle->dimpled mug: Pours a off-white head atop a cloudy, amber body. Aroma of molasses and heavy floral notes. The body is thin, the body is short, lightly sweet.
