Pours a very dark black color with a small thin brown head. Looks like motor oil coming out of the bottle. Nice chocolate flavors in the aroma and taste. Fairly sweet like a chocolate bar.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
No mistaking this for anything but an imperial stout. Inky pour with a thick brown head. Lots of roasted coffee with some malted chocolate. Could be a bit richer and creamier.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours jet black with a huge, nitro looking mocha head. Aroma of cooked plum, sherry, pine, herbal hops, roasted malts. Very smooth palate, close to full bodied. The flavor is very sweet, with maple, vanilla, and molasses. Dries up a bit on the finish, with an herbal hoppiness and a slight smoked peat flavor. Slightly alcoholic.
