COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional smoked wheat beer unique flavor comes from a combination of the smoky sweetness from the heirloom smoked malt and the spicy and herbal notes from Saaz hops.

Bottle. 7/22/14. Pours hazy translucent strw-gold with a thin, fast to fade white head. Aroma is wheat malt, brown sugar, smoke, caramel, bread, hay. Smells quite nice. Taste is slightly smoky, bubblegum, protein-like, earthy, sweet, grass, leafy, pickled cabbage; finish is clean and fairly abrupt. Nice lacing throughout. Medium-low carbonation. Medium bodied with a chewy mouth feel. This beer is not stellar. However, the flavor profile is fair and the beer is sessionable. I would order this in a bar.

Opaque gold with some umber hues. Light smoke aroma. Light smoke flavor with malty backbone. Some light hop character near the end that quickly fades.

The aroma is light smoke, malt, and grass. The appearance is hazy gold with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with a touch of peppers. The palate is a bit thin. Overall interesting because the smoke does not overpower here. I like this even though I am not a huge fan of smokes.

I give this beer credit for being creative, but definitely not my thing. Wheat is smoky, bready, and a bit salty. No hops presence to speak of.

First beer of the style and I'm impressed! I'm surprised with how well the smokiness works. Typical wheat beer up front; great smoky finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

~Smokey musty woodsy aroma, bready biscuity malts, spicy hop. ~Pours a cloudy golden color with small wispy white head. ~Light bready malt with smoke and spicy hop character. ~Light bodied with high CO2, crisp finish, refreshing. ~Never had this style of beer before. I really like it. Combines smokiness which I like and a refreshing light crisp beer that is great for summer. I’ll have to try and brew this one.

Clear golden color with white foam. Nice smoky, spicy, meaty aromas with dry pale wheat. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Smoky spicy sausage flavors with dry crackers, pale wheat____easy drinking---good.

Bottle. The look is cloudy with a white head. The smell is smoke, herbal, hay, florals and wheat. The taste is smoke, straw, grass and a touch of bitterness.. Too much smoke for me..

Golden in color easy drinking. Very light in the smoked portion. Light hops this was more of a average ale.
