COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Caitlin DeClercq created her Honey Beeís Lavender Wheat with dried lavender petals, giving it a fragrant but soft aroma. A citrus tartness and slight sweetness from the honey and vanilla balance out the finish in this California residentís brew, perfect to sip while kicking back and relaxing.

Very slight haze on this gold beer, short lived white head. Nice nose of orange citrus and mild lavender. Head has mild sherbet lavender! Semi crisp palate. Semi sweet mild orange citrus, well balanced with perfumed lavender. Semi dry finish. Refreshing and interesting.

Bottle from michael-pollack. Pours orange gold with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is floral with a citric kick. Near med body. Flavor is very floral - lavender it is. Thereís a sort of honey after thought. It has a sweet undertone but bitter wins. Very unusual.

Bottle @ home. Fairly clear, light orange appearance with an off white head. Floral, lavender, coriander, hoppy, wheat nose. Quite floral, lavender, wheat malty flavor with a bitter floral finish. Pretty interesting spicy wheat ale. I actually really enjoyed it. Itís great to see breweries able to implement lavender and other spices effectively.

12 ounce bottle opened 4/11/11. Pours a clear pale golden color with a medium sized fizzy white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of honey, lavender and grainy malts. The taste is fairly strong lavender notes, caramel malts, honey and a bitter almost metallic hop note. Medium bodied.
