3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Poured clear, fiery orange with a sticky beige head. The aroma picked up juicy redder fruits and citrus with dusty earth and peppery spicage around. The flavor found semi-sweet fruit and caramel notes at the core, with spicy pine, redder fruit, and grassy bitterness around.. resiny and bitter on the long finish. Medium-bodied with moderate-plus bitterness on the palate.. soft carbonation on the middle.. good stuff.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This was supposed to be the stand-out in this Longshot batch, but all I got was a bunch of hops with no real direction and no focal point for the different flavors. Not that much better than the hordes of other IPAs with random hop additions.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle from a six pack. Pours almost clear copper with a cream-colored head with good retention that leaves some lace. Aroma is bready, caramelly, perfumy--not the type of aroma I look for in an IPA. Taste is bittersweet. Tastes more like a barleywine than a DIPA. Has a lingering bitter cough drop flavor. Oily mouthfeel, average carbonation, full body. Not for me.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(12oz bottle thanks to swalden28) clear copper, soapy tan bubbles. Nose of faded hops, candied citrus peel, ruby red grapefruit. taste of grapefruit, lightly bitter, bit roasty that I think iím just confused about, malty backbone and finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a deep slightly red copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma is quite hoppy with resin and citrus notes. Some biscuit and malts in the aroma as well. Taste is very well balanced with good hoppy citrus flavors. A touch of clove and grass too. Nice malty backbone with some cereal flavors. Very good.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a slightly hazy, deep copper color with a thin tan head. The nose is a delightful mix of dank, citrus, and piney hops. The flavor highlights the hops the whole way starting with citrus notes, moving to herbal and finishing with resinous pine. Medium to full bodied with lower carbonation and a long, bitter finish. A very solid offering.
