COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Zack Adamsís Magnificent Seven IPA is described as ďa showcase of seven American hop varieties that impart a big piney and lingering resinous flavor. A true Imperial American IPA, this brew pours a rich bronze color. The slightly sweet malt character is pleasantly balanced by a pronounced hop bitterness with grapefruit, pine and earthy notes from the American hops. This medium-bodied IPA also delivers caramel, citrus, lemon and piney aromas.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear copper with a foamy beige head. Aroma is resin/citrus/earthy. Near full bodied. Flavor is a definitely sweet caramel backbone, but thereís a lot of earthy/resin hop to off set that. Donít know what happened to the citrus. Itís really quite mouthsmacking. Finishes definitely bitter, but not absolutely dry. Really good ale.

Amber pour with a white head. Sweet, caramel aroma. Some bread, toast, and fruit. Orange peel, grass, and a bit of weed. Some pine and a light lemon note. The flavor is pretty "meh" as well. Sweet bread and caramel malt. Some orange, lemon, and pine. Fairly grassy, lightly bitter, and somewhat astringent on the finish.

Bottle in KC, shared by jcnielsen. Grazie! Pours a dark orange appearance with a tan head. Somewhat grapefruity citrusy, a bit spicy piney, light chemical, a bit toasty malty nose. Slight candy, orange fruity, lemon, somewhat spicy, toasted caramel malty flavor. Another from this LongShot series six pack that is a disappointment.
