Commercial Description:
2008. Created by homebrewer Alex Drobshoff. Alex’s Brew is a bright copper German inspired bock with a complex, full bodied mouthfeel. Hints of rich plum and cherry aromas paired with its toasty, malt flavor make this the perfect beer to linger over on a cool evening.

Poured a plain brown color with okay head and good lacing. Aroma was lots bread and grassy some fruit in there as well. Flavor was much the same with some added chocolate and nuttiness in there. Mouthfeel was little sticky. Okay beer.

Bottle. Mahogony beer with a dark cream colored head. Rich malt aroma with light darker malts. Malt and caramel flavor with light mineral and light citrus. Medium bodied. Very clean and easy to drink. Caramel and light mineral linger.

Good beer. Pours clear brown with some ruby tones. Not much head to speak of. The nose is rich with fruity and chocolatey caramel. Same with the flavor with a clean dry finish. I enjoyed this beer more than I thought I would.

Pours a deep amber with a tan head. Caramel bock taste with a fairly decent finish. This beer is nowhere near the Longshot Double IPA.

12oz bottle served in a shaker. Attractive mahogany pour with a one-finger thick head of tan foam. A thick coat of lacing was left around the glass. The aroma had caramel, toast, nuts, and also some dark fruits. The flavor consisted of rich caramel, toasted bread, and some dark fruit skins. Clean finish. Medium-bodied mouthfeel with light to moderate carbonation. Well made. Decent.
