Commercial Description:
2008. Created by homebrewer Alex Drobshoff. Alex’s Brew is a bright copper German inspired bock with a complex, full bodied mouthfeel. Hints of rich plum and cherry aromas paired with its toasty, malt flavor make this the perfect beer to linger over on a cool evening.

A nice brown pour with a thin light tan head which had decent lacing. A good malt character nice bread like notes with a sweet but no cloyingly sweet caramel note. Although it was smooth and easy to drink it seemed to have some body on the palate.

Aroma of cherried and sweet caramel malts with some chocolate and perhaps a hazelnut touch as well. Pours a clear dark mahogany with a one finger puffy head. Flavor is sweet with a slightly watery palate

12 oz. bottle. Shared with Doug. Pours a thin head, with no lacing, over a clear (SRM 18) body....nose of rosted grains, coffee, molasses. dried fruit including cherries and plums.....taste is of cereal. cocoa. hazelnuts. dried fruits including raisin and cherry....mouth feel is medium as is carbonation. This is a wonderfully complex beer working its way toward Weizen Bock qualities.
