Bottle from Zac. This started with a nice base porter that was not covered up by the flavor additions. Nice bits of coffee plus some nuttiness. Maybe a hint of metal in the middle but nice overall and nice ABV.

355ml bottle. Brownish red colour, moderate almond head. Smells like a maple pecan coffee, if such a thing exists, maybe a hint of soy sauce. Taste is like a maple nut chocolate from like a Christmas box of chocolate, light porter coffee. Crisp body. Overall, this is what it says it is, a maple pecan porter.

Bottle. Sweet, syrupy aroma. Average carbonation. Deep reddish brown color. Sweet, syrupy caramel porter flavor. Bitter finish. Definitely a dessert beer. About as good as it gets for a bottle porter.

Shared with Strykzone via Facebook Chat. Poured brown with a beige head. Nose of nuts and maple syrup. Medium body. Smooth in the mouth. Flavor is very rich with maple first, then nuts, and chocolate following . Finish is roasted nuts. Very tasty.

12 ounce bottle from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. The pour is dark brown with red and it is pretty much clear despite the dark hue. A smallish tan head. The aroma is big chocolate with some nuttiness. Maple comes in after those. I taste milk chocolate with caramel, maple, nuts, and a little astringency. Some light coffee roasted notes appear late. This is quite sweet. No hops are found anywhere.

Lovely looking beer, with a nice nutty flavor but it was sweet and gave me the impression of added syrups.

This brew tastes just like what its name suggests. The maple comes through once cracking open the bottle. The pecan is there in the flavor too. I sweet beer that is good for a dessert.
