COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Part of the Beer Lover’s Choice 2011.

Samuel Adams is bringing you Maple Pecan Porter. A nutty syrupy porter that just reeks of New England.
Sweet New England maple syrup and a distinct pecan note define this balanced porter. The roasted character of our blend of malts complements the maple sweetness with hints of coffee and chocolate. Reddish-black in color, this full-bodied brew has a sweet and slightly nutty finish.

One of the finest brews I’ve had in a long time. Great nose, even better finish with the pecan, the maple flavor was just right, not overpowering. Winner of 1st place overall at our "Beer Fest II" sampling party in February.

Dark brown with a Brown Head. Smell has a strong aroma of maple, nuts, roasted malts and some chocolate. The flavor has some surprisingly strong maple and roasted malt notes, followed by chocolate and coffee. Body is pretty light and the carbonation is as well; Very creamy body. Great Porter overall!

Got at Krogers on Broadway with the seasonal 12-Pack. Dark Brown. Long, tan head. Aroma: Maple syrup, malt. Flavor: Maple dominates, chocolate with Pecan backing. Nutty finish. It shocked me with flavor the second it hit my mouth. I never had a beer with breakfast but this or a Rauchbier would be my choice if I was to do so. This may be the most unique Sam I have ever had.

Deep dark porter color. Aroma is swer and dry nuts, almost salty. Flavor is at first a sweet sasparilla root beer followed by a cool blueberry, finishing with a big warming molasses flavor. Very dynamic and surpringly fantastic.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark brown with a half finger of off white head. Aroma of maple and roasty nuts with a little coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is medium sweet. Roasty coffee and nuts with loads of maple syrup. Full bodied with a slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, really great. I would take this in a 6pkdifferent any day.

Pours dark brown topped with a thin light brown foam. Aroma is strong with nuts and chocolate. Taste is nutty and heavy with maple. This beer does not disappoint. Worth buying the sampler to try this one.

12 fl oz / 355mL bottle into Samuel Adams glass. Aroma: Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet maple syrup. This stuff smells like Aunt Jemima’s. It smells like pancakes, breakfast, and chocolate. Appearance: Almost opaque, superdark brown / ruby. Taste: Mmmmmmmmmmmm breakfast in a glass. Starts out with nice roasty malts, and then finishes up with that sweet maple syrup that balances with the pecans. Delicious! Palate: Medium body. Flavor lasts for a bit on the back of the tongue. Overall: Please, please, please release this in six packs. It is fantastic!! I could drink this stuff for breakfast. I could use this in some pancake batter recipes and make some killer pancakes.

Tap. Maple pecan malt aroma. Dark brown color with small head. Lightly sweet pecan malt and moderately bitter hay flavor. Very nice - not too sweet.
