From bottle. Yellowish color. Very clear. Little head retention that doesnt last. Slight floral aroma. Good but nothing special.

Orange-yellow with tiny off white head. Aroma is muted, some floral hops and a bit of skunk. Light-medium body. Flavor is ok. Lightly sweet, some caramel, a sour-dry finish. Not much hops. Drinkable, but trying to decide if it’s subtle or boring, leaning towards boring.

Bottle. Clear pale yellow with no head. Light floral aroma and slightly sweet taste. Moderate palate. Overall okay, no major flaws.

12oz bottle, from Party Source. Best by July 2013. Clear yellow color. Good thin white head. Little loose lace. Medium body. Good crisp lighter carbonation. More dry texture. Smooth and easy-drinking. Interesting, tasty hop profile. Minimal citrus makes it an appreciated change of pace from most of the new pale ales I’ve been tasting lately. More hay, grassy notes. Some floral hop. Not assertive, more smooth and approachable, but still satisfyingly hoppy. Good light bitterness. Little sweet taste, a nice zestiness. Solid, easy-drinking pale ale that I wouldn’t mind getting again.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a lasting creamy white head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, light grapefruit zest and a hint of pine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness, light grapefruit zest and light pine with a crisp dry lightly bitter lingering earthy finish.

Sampled at the Texas Craft Brew fest, my score is based off of some incoherent notes and a 2 oz sample.

Well, I’ll admit up front that when I picked up a mixed 6er and grabbed this brew, I was oblivious to the fact that this was a Sam Adams product...anyway, pours a slightly opaque gold - thin whitish head that recedes quickly. Aroma is some corn, some wheat, some skunk, and a pinch of hops - meh...kind of reminds me of my first experience with St Pauli Girl when I was 19... Flavor is bitter and slightly skunky as well...turns sweet mid-drink with some corn and slight citrus hop notes. Ends bitter and lasts for a long time. Palate average for the style. Not really digging this one...

Bottle from Virginia bottle shop. Golden body with medium head. Nose is corny, malty, papery. Tate is not great, some malts and straw notes. A bit prickly. Disappointed this is a Samuel Adams beer as it is marketed as a smaller brewer. Okay.

12 oz bottle. Clear piss; nice, barely foamy white head becomes a medium-small white ring. Aroma bread, yeast, malt, hay, floral. Flavor light and somehow both crisp and muddled; bready, biscuit, dandelion. Medium if not thin body; heavy carbonation is very nearly fizzy. BLAH.

12 oz. bottle- Pours hazy golden with a one finger white head. Aroma smells a lot like wort, but that eventually goes away leaving a pleasing spicy hoppy yeasty aroma. The taste is light, mildly fruity, floral, yeasty, mellow hops leaving a dry finish. Better than I was expecting considering the average score here
