3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden with lots of bubbles and a medium foamy egg-shell colored frothy head. Aroma is spicy and tea-like, aromatic, lightly fruity, very light, really has a fruit herbal tea-like sensation. Flavor follows, tastes like a fruit herbal tea, spicy, herbal, strong flavors but quite light overall, some tannic bitterness, a hint of cheesiness, maltiness is very much subdued, super light. Medium/light bodied, fluffy but fizzy carbonation, quite drinkable. Quite dry, could use a greater malt presence, tastes like wort.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a thick white head, with a pale/golden body. Hoppy, hay like nose. Citrus and hoppy finish with a very earthy quality that carries throughout the bottle.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a bright pale golden in color with a fluffy white pilsner-type head that laces to the glass. Aroma is all hop spiciness; pine oil and mown grass. Rich sweet pale malt flavor with mild hop bitterness arriving at the end. Well balanced and refreshing. Hops are more present than in a Czech representation, but very good none-the-less.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JAN 22, 2010 Bottle from a friend. Pours a clear gold with lively carbonation. The small white head quickly recedes. Earthy and citrus hop aroma with pilsner malt. Similar taste, pils, citrus, and grassy notes. Less bitter than I expected, it’s actually very smooth and crisp. Mild and refreshing. This one is definitely an easy drinker, i could down quite a few on a warm day, or a cold day, or a Tuesday for that matter.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: FEB 16, 2010 Rerate- Tap at Alexus Steakhouse. Pours a nice clear straw golden with a frothy white head- some lace. Aroma is earthy spicy hops, light grass- fresh very light delicate malts, toast and bready- especially as it warms up. Warming it a bit from its tap serving temp also allows the flavor to open up considerably- fresh zesty herbal and floral hops- nice spicy kick and bready crisp pils malts- refreshing clean and just an awesome thing to see on tap in an otherwise lackluster lineup of taps at the bar. I hope to keep seeing this for a while.
12 oz bottle. Pours with a copper body with a thin head even when poured hard. Aroma is nice fresh cut grassy hops, bready malts, spicy herbal hops and a bit of slick biscuit malt that throws it off a bit. Flavor is sweet slick biscuit and bready malts, a bit too sweet, mineral bitter grassy and floral hops, clean chalky pez, toasted malts, grassy orange zesty hops, and a clean finish. Ok.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
I guess I expected something else. It does taste very similar to the bohemian pilsner I drank a couple nights ago. That’s not really a good thing. I expected a fresher tasting pils, but this is just kinda watery and bland. Nose shows some very green (maybe overly so) "noble" hops and little else. Flavor has a watered down hop character, cereal, and a medium bitter finish. I wish I didn’t buy a whole 6 pack. Silly Sam.

Bottle. Pours yellow/gold, with a white head. Aroma is grass and hops. Flavor is grass, hops, and spices. Medium body, heavier than I would like.
Overall, decent, but a bit too heavy and not quite crisp enough.

Not being a hophead, I was pleasently suprised by this one. Wonderful nose that is of wet hops. On the palate I get just the right amount of dryness, citrus and a hint of malt. All balanced very, very well.
