4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
12 oz brown bottle into a pilsner glass
A: Clear golden with a small head in the cold glass. Not much retention but great lacing. Not much visible carbonation.
S: Pine. Little else. Maybe a little cardboard malt trace.
T: Similar to the smell but pine not as dominant. Sour bread present to counter the piney herbal hop taste. Flavors meld very nicely. Pretty good balance and distinctive good taste.
M: Fairly thick or so it seems for a pils. Just enough carbonation to dance around the tongue.
Sticky and chewy and substantial. Maybe not as "sessionable" as you’d expect from a pilsner but so what? Very good!
O: Really good pilsner from Sam & Co. There’s stuff in there and quality stuff. One of the best I’ve had in the style. I drink this occasionally and will continue to purchase it.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pilsener... I think of my granddad when I hear the word. Does it taste like an old man? No. The aroma is modest hops, some chalk and grass. The taste is light bread, malt and a touch of lemon. Maybe some minerals in there? Overall though, a good solid drinkable pils.

A typical pilsner. Gold color, good amount of carbonation etc. Typical pilsner aroma of bread and grass. A very mild hop bitterness. also a little sweet and tart. A decent pilsner

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A well balanced pils of citrus hops, spices, I think peppercorns, toasted malt and barley. Sticky, sweet and bitter finish creates an impressive pilsner after the hop kick. Clean and enjoyable. Good session beer.

what a pleasant surprise here. lots of hops for the style, but i sure ain’t complainin...best pils i’ve had in a while. i loved the delicate hop aroma and flavor. always there, but not too agressive. still has a classic crisp malt backbone. SA nailed this one."

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Good beer. Pours light yellow, with a white head that desolves quickly. Has a grassy and malty aroma. I tasted some grassy and citrus hops, not extremely hoppy with a slight malt balance. A light bodied beer with a slightly bitter finish. I will definitely have this beer again.

OK and easy drinking but not a lot going on here in terms of aroma. Pours golden with foamy initial head and no lacing. Light grainy and sour finish. Bottle from Chevy chase.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rather intense grassy hop aroma for a pilesner, which is good. A bit hazy, goldoen color. Some bitterness. Quite okay.
