"Noble hop growing regions" is just a marketing tool. You have aroma hops and bitterness hops, based on their chemical composition, "noble hops" do not exist, despite what you may have read in your favorite homebrew book. The beer pours a nice clear golden color, there is a slight hop aroma. The taste is full malt offset by a lot of hop character. Sharp bitter aftertaste. This is quite a good beer, although somewhat extreme for my taste. Somewhere between a downscaled micro or a souped up German Pils. Nonetheless, compared to all the insipid lagers available nationwide, a great contribution to the beer landscape. Would like to see it available year round!

A typical pilsner. Gold color, good amount of carbonation etc. Typical pilsner aroma of bread and grass. A very mild hop bitterness. also a little sweet and tart. A decent pilsner

A well balanced pils of citrus hops, spices, I think peppercorns, toasted malt and barley. Sticky, sweet and bitter finish creates an impressive pilsner after the hop kick. Clean and enjoyable. Good session beer.

what a pleasant surprise here. lots of hops for the style, but i sure ainít complainin...best pils iíve had in a while. i loved the delicate hop aroma and flavor. always there, but not too agressive. still has a classic crisp malt backbone. SA nailed this one."

Good beer. Pours light yellow, with a white head that desolves quickly. Has a grassy and malty aroma. I tasted some grassy and citrus hops, not extremely hoppy with a slight malt balance. A light bodied beer with a slightly bitter finish. I will definitely have this beer again.

OK and easy drinking but not a lot going on here in terms of aroma. Pours golden with foamy initial head and no lacing. Light grainy and sour finish. Bottle from Chevy chase.

Poured from bottle. Thin white head, golden orange. Pleasant citrus aroma. Surprisingly hoppy, grapefruit, crisp. Bitter, spicy finish. Pretty good for a pilsner.

My HEAVENS, what an AWFUL brew. Just bought a sixer for the very first time & I can honestly say that this foul mess ranks right up there with Icehouse, Busch, and several other distinctly forgettable beers.
There are several really good brews that are produced by Sam Adams, but this is definitely NOT amongst them. Even something like Dos Equis lager leaves this one in the dust, and Iím amazed that anyone would want to waste their $$$ trying this swill.
Whew! Simply a bad taste, NO nose, and nothing whatsoever that would make me want to try this one again.
I once worked in a hospital laboratory for almost 5 years. And this Noble Pils stuff takes me back to those very fotgetable days when I played in buckets of tee-tee on a daily basis.
Guess it would be OK if youíre stranded on a desert island & have absolutely NOTHING else to drink except this foul stench. But I really gotta say that Iím most certainly gonna add this one to on my Brews to AVOID from now on.
