Commercial Description:
The first thing you notice when pouring a glass of this seasonal beer is the color. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest has a rich, deep golden amber hue which itself is reflective of the season. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest is a malt lover's dream, masterfully blending together four roasts of barley to create a delicious harmony of sweet flavors including caramel and toffee. The beer is kept from being overly sweet by the elegant bitterness imparted by the German Noble hops. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest provides a wonderful transition from the lighter beers of summer to the winter's heartier brews.

One of Sam’s better seasonal brews. This just tastes like fall. It’s cool and crisp with a clean finish. It doesn’t linger on your tongue all night and by the end of the pint you just want another. Oh. It’s that good.

Pours medium bodied amber with a quickly fading off white head. Aromas of caramel, barley, grain, and a touch of toffee malts. Flavor is of grains, caramel, with a touch of toffee and hop. A little bitter with a touch of sweet.

One of the better of the style. Dark amber with a small head. Aroma of bread and malt. Flavor is typical of the style.

Nic matlyness. Aroma is kind of tight but there are is a creamy sweetness that comes through. Taste is of your caramel and a little bit of vanilla. Like the description says its sweet but not overly. Well balanced. Flavour is pretty solid all the way through.

bottle, pours light brown medium off white head. Bready malt aroma with some almond skin and yeast notes. Bready almost rye malt backbone ends with a bitter and sour finish that is more sour than bitter. Not that bad.
