Samuel Adams Octoberfest

I have always loved this one! I love a caramel-brewed beer! The hint of spice makes it even better. I wish this one was around year-round. I used to have this as a 10 out of 10 until I truly discovered a bunch of other beers. This one will always be a favorite of mine nonetheless.

A nice Marzen, always enjoy tasting this one- ecspecially on draught. Pours a bright copper colour with a large white head. Aroma is of fresh light amber malt and earth. Flavor is full on the palate, rich yet smooth and firm. Perhaps a little spice as well.

12oz. Bottle pours deep amber. The taste of this brew is charachteristic of many octoberfests. It is a spicy yet tempting brew that does not necessarilly dissapoint.

Color is orangish with a decent looking head. Smell is of malts, grainy, and spiced. Medium body. Taste is malty, caramel, and toasty. Taste seemed weak and articial though.

Not bad for the style. Actually somewhat enjoyable, pretty clean in the mouthfeel, with some rich bready caramel malt and just a bit of spice detectable.

In my opinion, this is the best beer Sam Adams has. The spices are nice and smooth, and it still has that Sam Adams flavor making this their best brew. I love the month of October!! Thank you Octoberfest!!

A dark reddish-brown color topped with a thin head. Not my favorite Samuel Adams but still pretty solid. The aroma is mild, some spice and caramel malt. Smooth and easy drinking, perhaps a touch thin. Flavors a little nutty, plenty of malt character, and subtle hops. Decent beer.
