Samuel Adams Octoberfest

Good tasting, with a nce finish to it.One of my Fav. octoberfests. Amber color was pleasing to the eye.

Drank from 12oz bottle at my uncle’s on halloween and thought it was one of the best octoberfest beers I’ve had. I could taste sweet caramel along with nice bitter bite. Sam Adams is becoming one of my more favorite brewers. I can’t wait to try more.

12 oz bottle. Amber color with small head. Caramelly, toffeish, fruity and berryish aroma. Malty, toffeish, caramelly, biscuity, toasty and berryish flavor with very low bitterness which screws the balance.

Nice deep amber color. Caramel and toffee flavors blend nicely and gently slide down the throat for a smooth finish.

On tap at The Bishop’s Arms, Malmo, 8th Oct 2007. Dark amber with a little head. Strong aroma of malt and caramel - likewise in the taste. Some butter flavours too. Full bodied and you feel the alcohol.

Had this on tap. Poured a dark orange/amber color. Little to no head. Smelled of malts and some spice. Mouthfeel was weak. Mouthfeel was thin and watery. Flavor was well balanced. Good seasonal from SA.

This Marzen poured a nice deep copper colour with a big bold tan coloured head. To the nose you could smell scents of ripe fruit, sugary malts, citrus, candy (cherry Life Savers)...First taste was really smooth almost to the flat side of things but still good with very sweet flavours of raisins and that slight cherry flavour too. Thick syrupy mouthfeel with a very sweet finish and a palate of ??? Vermouth and cough candies??? Not as bad as it sounds.

A good octoberfest beer that is full of spices and has a great aroma. The hops really come out of this beer, like most Sam Adams beers. I really enjoy this during the four months they brew it.
