Nov 17, 2007 Bottle - Rich ruby/amber colour, small head, slight visible carbonation. It has a cherry-malt aroma with a smidgen of honey also. It has a suprising mild flavour, malty for sure but with an underlining bitterness, it is quite dry also and has a medium finish. Not what I expected but not bad at all..

Nov 13, 2007 Not the best Oktoberfest that I’ve ever had but not the worst either. Nice caramel coloring with a nice malty nose. Not my favorite Sam Adams but it was OK. I would drink it again.

Nov 13, 2007 A cream head with a copper hue body. The citrus, wheat, and malt are on the nose. The taste is malty slightly wheaty and citrus. The beer was slightly bitter. in the finish. the beer was just okay not great.

Oct 29, 2007 Updated: Oct 12, 2009Aroma of yeast and citrus. Dark with a nice head. Smooth, malty taste - grass, grains, hops, with a soft edge. Pretty sweet too. Downgraded in 2009. Pretty good, but not the best Octoberfest or the best from Samuel Adams.
