COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The first thing you notice when pouring a glass of this seasonal beer is the color. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest has a rich, deep golden amber hue which itself is reflective of the season. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest is a malt lover’s dream, masterfully blending together four roasts of barley to create a delicious harmony of sweet flavors including caramel and toffee. The beer is kept from being overly sweet by the elegant bitterness imparted by the German Noble hops. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest provides a wonderful transition from the lighter beers of summer to the winter’s heartier brews.

Bottle from sampler pack. Good smooth nose and sweeter malt initial taste. A bit of Carmel in there and some hops hiding as well. Smooth finish and decent aftertaste. A slightly above average octoberfest. ---Rated via my mouth

33 cl systembolaget. En mycket trevlig öl som jag delade med Linda Hjalmarsson en fredagkväll.

Clear; lovely burnished copper color. Fizzy head dissipates quickly. Very mild malt aroma; very simple, predominantly sweet, malty flavors. Not much there there. Far too simple to be interesting, though certainly inoffensive. If offered a bottle I would drink it but I’m not going to buy another 6-pack.

Tapper was orange-gold with a moderate head and lacing. Aroma was of malts and mild hops. Taste was nice with malts predominantly present. Finished with a mild hop bitterness. Palate was good. Overall, a good Octoberfest.

"nice toffee sweetness here, but otherwise it’s a very unassuming beer. not bad, but totally avoidable, as Sam Adam’s brews several beers way more exciting than this one. 2009-even a little more boring than year’s past. 2011 - 3.0 2012 - richer, fuller flavor & body! 2013 even better. What gives? My palate ain’t changing that much."

Mörk orange/brun färg med gräddvitt skum. Lätt maltig smak med gott kryddigt inslag, lagom söt. En god oktoberöl. Flaska ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap. Pour is amber. Aroma of caramel and roast. Taste is a bit bland and sweetness overpowers the Nobel hops.

I enjoyed this beer very much. Consistent flavor over two 6-packs bought on different sides of the country.
