COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The first thing you notice when pouring a glass of this seasonal beer is the color. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest has a rich, deep golden amber hue which itself is reflective of the season. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest is a malt lover’s dream, masterfully blending together four roasts of barley to create a delicious harmony of sweet flavors including caramel and toffee. The beer is kept from being overly sweet by the elegant bitterness imparted by the German Noble hops. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest provides a wonderful transition from the lighter beers of summer to the winter’s heartier brews.

I feel like everything about Sam Adams Octoberfest is a bit thin. I agree with many others that it is too sweet. It’s not bad, but I like a number of other such brews better.

Mørk Orange klar med lavt beige skum. Karamell og gresskarlukt. Søt i smaken, karamell og malt. Lett bitter i avslutningen, men den søte smaken sitter igjen i munnen.

12 fl oz ($1.42) not bad but this is not the best octoberfest out there. It will due. best if you get this in the 12 pack of the harvest box. propubly one of the best boxes in the store right now.

2014 bottle. Light malt taste with some pumpkin and allspice. Taste is overly sweet and needs more bitterness to even it out. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft pour. Pours a dark amber color with a toasty malt aroma. Very bready malt flavor. Decent up front flavor with a somewhat empty finish. Alright beer. I’d drink again.

Every fall(well summer really as these things come out earlier every year) no matter what u find myself coming back to this one at least once wether I purchase it in a sixer or in a mix pack. As with all things sam adams a good all around average take in the style with superb craftsmanship. Many better fall offerings yet I always find myself contributing to the mighty boston brewery coffers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ home. Nice dark amber and reddish color. Moderate sweet aroma that is grainy and nutty with balancing toffee, caramel and hints of almond and spices. Taste is similar and a bit too sweet in the mid and late taste for my liking. Finishes with spicy bitterness.

Didn’t get much smell out of the bottle, but it comes out in the glass. Pours with a solid head that isn’t too thick, but sticks around. Smells and tastes mildly of spice. Heavy, but very drinkable. Overall pretty good.
