COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The first thing you notice when pouring a glass of this seasonal beer is the color. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest has a rich, deep golden amber hue which itself is reflective of the season. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest is a malt lover’s dream, masterfully blending together four roasts of barley to create a delicious harmony of sweet flavors including caramel and toffee. The beer is kept from being overly sweet by the elegant bitterness imparted by the German Noble hops. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest provides a wonderful transition from the lighter beers of summer to the winter’s heartier brews.

Clear see through carmel red light brown color with small white head off bottle pour. Taste of carmel and nice balance between maltiness and sweetness. Not very hoppy or bitter. Crisp roasted taste on ending.

Very small hint of some sugary goodness maybe caramel. Somewhat impressed because i normally dislike sam adams beers but this had a solid kick to it and great taste which again is all that matters.

Bottle at ritz in New York City. Light- dark in color. Aroma: hints of pumpkin, and spices. Light wheaty scent. Taste: good flavor. Pumpkin continues. Very light spice with a very slight citrusy after taste. Overall: pretty good beer. Will probably consider seeing what these can do for me in a session.

Pours a clear copper with a quickly disappearing head. Nose is lots of caramel malts with some nuttiness. Distinct sweet caramel and toffee flavors and candy sugar notes. Balanced by a light hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Great to go beer!

Clear copper-amber body. Off white soon gone head. Aroma; leaves, apples, strawberry, juicy mild malts. Taste; leafy malts, apple peels, bread, caramel notes, yeast, orange juice. Easy on palate, normal carbonation. Finish brings forward the caramel malts. [35.5cl brown bottle, abv5.5%, BB7-2015, B@Systembolaget for 2€, T@höme)

CacheManyHose (227) - HONG KONG - OCT 31, 2014
Bottle. Malty, musty, slighty vegetal/sweaty aroma. Not much flavour, a little malt and spice. Body thin and fizzy. Heavy red ale in the nose but not much going on otherwise.
