PJ (1), USA does not count Nov 2, 2006 This is the most incredible stuff I’ve drunk in fifty years on the planet. Lotta malt, dark, not much on hops -- hey, someone like me is finally making beer. Why can’t we have this stuff year ’round? Oh, yeah, if we did, they’d be taking me to Betty Ford.... Octoberfest (1), USA does not count Sep 13, 2007 Sam Adams Octoberfest has got to be the finnest beer on the market. From its festive packaging, to its rich, full flavor screaming and celebrating that fall is finally here. Cheers!
Octoberfest Lover anthlovesbeer (67), north grafton, Massachusetts, USA Mar 27, 2008 Simply the best ever! A malt lover’s heaven! The color is absolutly magnificant to witness. But taste is all there. Nothing weak about this beer at all. It has everything! Goes great with steaks, and pork. Awesome! RagtimeJarhead (3), Toledo, Ohio, USA does not count Mar 28, 2008 Sorry for touting this one up, but it’s the first beer I ever bought, and I look forward to getting it every year. A good tail-gating beer. Not much substance to this review, but this beer gets me pumped for football TungstenGT (33), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Jan 26, 2009 This is without a doubt my favorite beer offering from SA. Whenever this is available I definitely go with this exclusively. I think the taste, color, and aroma are all home runs with this beer.
PubTimePete (2), Waterville, Maine, USA does not count Sep 2, 2006 Great color with a little sweet flavor to the taste. Good fall/football season beer. joeshmo21 (12), USA Feb 18, 2006 I’ve had a six-pack around for a while, but I realized that I hadn’t reviewed this brew yet. This is probably the finest beer I’ve yet to put in my mouth. It pours a darker orange/amber with a thick head. It has a nice, kind of fruity, smell. I don’t know what this has been spiced with, or what Boston Beer had done, but it was thoroughly delicious and smooth. There was a bit of a fruity, maybe spiced taste, and a very smooth and slightly bitter finish, no aftertaste. I can’t find a single weak point in this beer, except that it is only offerred once a year. I encourage everyone to try it at least once.
