Commercial Description:
The first thing you notice when pouring a glass of this seasonal beer is the color. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest has a rich, deep golden amber hue which itself is reflective of the season. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest is a malt lover's dream, masterfully blending together four roasts of barley to create a delicious harmony of sweet flavors including caramel and toffee. The beer is kept from being overly sweet by the elegant bitterness imparted by the German Noble hops. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest provides a wonderful transition from the lighter beers of summer to the winter's heartier brews.

In my opinion, this is the best beer Sam Adams has. The spices are nice and smooth, and it still has that Sam Adams flavor making this their best brew. I love the month of October!! Thank you Octoberfest!!

One of the best pints I’ve had in a while. Medium mahogany in color, with a centimeter-thick ivory head. Beautiful autumn flavor of sugar maple and roasted malts. Some hop body, but next to no hop bitterness. Alcohol definitely present. Smooth and sophisticated as hell.

Gorgeous deep dark amber in color. Slight toasty malt in aroma. What really stood out above all was the excellent yeasty dark bread flavor with a trailing toffee like sweet bitterness on the back of the throat that was spot on. An excellent Oktoberfest.

Reddish brown liquid topped by a large, bubbly beige head. Pleasant roasted malt aroma. Lovely toasted malt flavor with hints of brown sugar, raisins and cola. This zesty, full-bodied brew exhibits a spicey hop balance. Very good and very representative of the Oktoberfest style.

Fall is officially here with my first Sam Adams Octoberfest! Light malty aroma, light brown frothy head and amber color. Sweet malty start with slight hops at end. Smooth feel in mouth.
